Assertiveness Training
Many people experience problem in their life simply because they are not enough assertive. Assertiveness refers to the ability to refuse an action which you find not compatible to your ability at a given circumstance. Many people are aggressive, but unfortunately they are not assertive. Look at you. How many times in your life you feel that you should say 'NO', but you were unable to say so? Probably, the number is simply uncountable. You are not an exclusive one. On the contrary, you belong to the majority of the people around the world.
Although many individuals perceive it as not a very serious issue, assertiveness training, on the contrary, is indeed a complicated and crucially important issue. If you do not know how to say "No", you should go for an assertiveness training. Otherwise you will be simply remained passive and other people will walk-over you. In most of the cases, non-assertive people suffer from passive aggressive disorder. It is assumed since these people do not know how to refuse, and they comply with many things, however, against their will, and become chronically suppressive. This prolonged suppression then converts into passive aggressive behavior. These people intensely experience recurrent frustration, depression and anxiety throughout their lives. Assertiveness training is an integral component of anger management training and an effective anger management program teaches people how to react with assertiveness.
If you feel you are unable to hold on your anger and anger related emotions such as sudden outburst in crying in public place, you should care about enlisting yourself into an anger management program, otherwise, your life may be filled with utmost frustration, depression and anxiety, which will, in turn, results in absolute social desolation, emotional pain and loss of relationships.
